After seeing the Toyota Tacoma listed in the used vehicle inventory at OBX Chevrolet, l called and was put in contact with Mr. Bob Kankretz. Bob got my information around 4:00 pm and contacted me with several follow up questions around 5:00 or 5:30. Bob called me the next morning at 9:00am and told me l was approved and to come in and sign the paperwork. He kindly offered to come pick me up if l needed any transportation. When l got to the dealership, Bob had me do a test drive and then completed the paperwork which he already prepared for me to sign. He called on my behalf and obtained insurance coverage for the vehicle, l then signed the registration papers and the car was washed while I waited. Marc and the whole team were amazing from beginning to end. I actually texted him on a Sunday and he got back with me early Monday morning with several options. I stopped by that night and purchased a car within an hour. I never felt like he was trying to push me towards a particular car or anything I couldn’t afford. He was truly looking out for me and my best interests. They let me know that they’d always be available to me if I needed help or had questions. It seems like customer service is not the main focus with most companies anymore and everything is automated. That is not the case here. You can tell great customer service IS their main focus and they put their customers first. Every person I encountered greeted you with a smile, made sure you were being helped and offered assistance quickly if needed. Hands down the BEST car buying experience ever. (Shoutout to David, too.
